FAQs

Do you know who your target audience is and how to use your own corporate demographics within your new site?
It is vital that WE indentify who you are aiming your site at. The specification of the site should reflect who they are, what hardware and software they are using and how much time they have on their hands. And that's just the start...
How do you know which designer to choose?
There are clues to tell you whether the designer knows what he/she is doing. Do all their designs look the same? Does everything on the page have a purpose and not just appear gimicky? Can you get to the designers site and see proper contact details?
Do you need all that stuff the guy in the pub told you you need?
Website design is not purely about what you can see in the browser, in fact it forms maybe 35-40% of the projects overall work. That therefore means that guy in the pub doesn't know about over half the work that is required to build a successful site.
How much will the project cost you?
Have a look at the designers website to try and ascertain what it will likely cost you. Most designers won't say but it is worth a look. Contact the designers previous customers to find out what their experience was like.
